About Layan
Hi! My name is Layan, and I am currently studying Civil Engineering at the University of Queensland. I graduated from Mansfield State High School with an ATAR of 97.4, having completed English, Literature, Mathematics Methods, Physics, French Extension, and French. I am passionate about helping students succeed and enjoy teaching because I love seeing others gain confidence and understanding in their studies. I tutor English (up to Year 12 Literature) and Mathematics (up to Year 12 Methods), providing lessons that are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on sharing strategies and skills that helped me excel, supporting students to achieve their own academic goals.

My tutoring approach is student-centered and tailored to each individual’s needs. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence in both English and Mathematics.
