About Nigel

I have taught French and English in the past but now I concentrate on my passion, which is ancient languages. I majored in Latin and Greek but have also studied some 15 others, mostly ancient, over the years and have had students for Ancient Egyptian, Sumerian, Biblical Hebrew, Sanskrit, Old English, Old Norse and Old Irish. I like to see the connections between languages and to look into their origins.

About the lesson

I use a range of textbooks suited to young students and adults. Lessons are for one hour. I am patient and adjust to your interests and ability. I have taught primary, secondary and adult students in various subjects in the past and was a teacher of English as a Foreign Language for many years.
