About David
I've worked many varying jobs. From a construction ironworker to pay for my college as I went, to the professional, safer work, in an office. I found communicating with these very different people took adjusting my vocabulary, topics, and method of delivery to be understood and get the job done or reach understanding. I love to pass on what I've learned, and while my career path has been in the Math, Computer Science, and technical support side, my degree in Psychology has helped me understand the people around me and adjust to their way of communicating, leading to understanding.

My lessons will be with a goal of understanding the subject, clarity, and retention of the subject matter. While my career path has focused on Computer Science, tech support, and math my Psychology degree helps understanding who I'm working with and how to communicate in the best way for them to understand. If saying something one way doesn't seem to lead to understanding there's always a way to rephrase it with different vocabulary until understanding is there. Different people learn in their own way and pace and it's important to see that and adjust to it. I love to share what I've learned with the younger generation.
