About Federico
I have been a musician for more than 10 years, with most of that spent as a professional performer. I regularly toured around the world giving concerts and recitals.
My highlight was probably performing for the Pope in the Vatican, but I also enjoy performing in live broadcasts for the BBC.
I practice across three instruments: piano, violin, and singing. I have been trained to a similar level across all three, so I am available for lessons in all of them.
Outside of music, I currently study law at University College London, and I hope to become a barrister in the future.
I am an avid sports fan, so I keep up with the football at all times! I'm also a keen fan of the NBA and the UFC.

typical lesson structure:
technical warm-up: scales, arpeggios, dexterity exercises (Hanon, Czerny)
repertoire work: focus on current repertoire of the student relevant to their goals e.g. graded exam, concert, recital etc.
optional: aural skills (pitch/cadence recognition, call-and-response etc) this is mainly for graded-exam students
students can expect engagement with music theory throughout the lesson, though this is variable dependent on the individual goals of the student. Graded exam students will automatically engage with music theory to a greater degree, though this approach is also available for other students as per request.
I aim to help students develop excellent technical adeptness, but also a more holistic understanding of music as a whole, as I think this is an invaluable part of honing a well-rounded musician.
