Hi, I’m a qualified math educator with over 10 years of experience teaching students aged 13 to 18. I’ve recently stepped away from a full-time classroom role to focus on a more flexible, balanced lifestyle—while continuing to do what I love: helping students truly understand math. My approach is all about context and clarity. I don’t just teach to the test—I help students make sense of math through real-life examples and personalized support. Whether it’s building confidence with the basics or extending learning, I tailor each lesson to how the student learns best. I’m passionate about creating a space where students feel confident, capable, and supported. I also speak Samoan and English fluently, which helps me connect with a wider range of learners and families. With a strong foundation in both curriculum knowledge and practical teaching strategies, I aim to make math meaningful—not just another subject to get through, but a valuable skill for life.

About the lesson

Qualifications & Experience I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and 10 years’ experience teaching math to students aged 13–18, with a focus on real-world application and individualized support.
