About Julia
As an experienced Organic Chemistry tutor, I specialize in guiding students through the complexities of Organic Chemistry I and II. With a background as both a classroom and lab teaching assistant, I've had the opportunity to work closely with students, fostering a deeper understanding of key concepts and practical applications. I have also successfully helped students prepare for the ACS Organic Chemistry exams (Levels 1 and 2). My approach focuses on building foundational knowledge and problem-solving skills, ensuring that students not only excel academically but also develop the confidence to navigate organic chemistry independently. After years of helping friends and family master their organic chemistry courses, I decided to extend my support to others. I believe that sometimes, all it takes is hearing concepts explained from a different perspective. In my lessons, I simplify complex topics and focus on explaining the "why" behind reactions and chemistry rules, helping students truly grasp the material in a way that makes sense to them.
