About Lyle

I am a young British man who is simply seeking to utilise the gift that is being a native-speaker in order to help people of a potentially lesser utilised dialect to be able to go and experience the world!

Travel is a large part of my life and I would love for nothing more than to be able to aid others in going out and seeing everything they want to see knowing that they can fall back on strong English skills to help them navigate and learn as they go!

As well as this, I remember how anxious school exams were, I really didn't like them myself. I really wish something like this platform as accessible to me as a younger man as I now know I could have done even more in my life had it been!

That being said; what do want to achieve from becoming a tutor - I want to help people, and that is the greatest achievement of all!

About the lesson

No question has a correct answer really, just different interpretations of theories and studies of other, with this in mind - I like to encourage students to question not how things work in language, but why. This makes learning fun and exciting and prevents us from becoming bored/distracted.

I utilise spoken question and answer based teaching methods and encourage note taking throughout all lessons so that at the start of each lesson there is a recap from the previous in order to ensure efficient development in language skills.

I am a native English speaker whom studied English Literature and Language at higher education level and achieved a Bachelors Degree, this is my first experience as a tutor so I will be learning from you just as much as you are from me and I will ensure that you are comfortable at all times!

My lessons are designed for a range of students, from people who might not be too sure about tackling the challenge of learning a second language, to established young native speakers that simply need guidance in dissecting a piece of literature. I will always be available to help you.
