About Valerie
I have been teaching elementary math and science for 10 years. I have achieved an ‘Exemplary Teacher’ designation through the Texas Education Agency TIA program which places me in the top 20% of teachers in Texas. I won Teacher of the Year in 2020 as I navigated the switch from in-person to virtual teaching. I love teaching and building relationships with students and their families.
