About Charvi
As a recent graduate I was a student not too long ago and am currently pursuing my master's degree so I understand the struggle of feeling confused or lost. I hope to provide the right guidance and have 2 years of experience as a student teacher at my university where I designed my own lesson plans and I actually found my teaching techniques make a difference in my students. I’ve also volunteered as a teacher at an elementary school as well as volunteered as an English tutor for Engin, an organization dedicated to teaching English to Ukrainian students.

I focus on breaking down the basics and creating a strong foundation for my students. Visual learning and brainstorming gives us a good map of our agenda for the day. I’ve found active learning is the most efficient way to learn concepts and test yourself so I like to follow up my explanations with example questions to apply your knowledge right away. In my classes as a teaching assistant during my undergraduate degree, I would create worksheets to work through together that target every concept being covered in the lesson and we solve a problem together, followed by you testing yourself on the next question and explaining your thought process to me and then concluding the session with a review of everything covered. I encourage stopping me at any point as well with questions no matter how small because it helps us cover all ground.
