About Chaniqua
I have two bachelor's degrees - one is in Biomedical Sciences while the other is in French (Language and Culture). I am based in England and the U.S., therefore I tutor online. I have tutored core subjects such as Biology, Basic Human Anatomy, Algebra, as well as more basic to advanced maths and science courses. I come from a background of educators and thus I want to see students succeed in a way that is beneficial, so that they may learn and retain information rather than regurgitate it for exams. I am an everyday person who found that many school systems are set up in a way that ensures its students fail. Before I realised that I had been sucked into the revolving door of causing myself unnecessary stress and anxiety over grades and relying way too heavily upon professors and lecturers who as one told me put simply is “I’ve already got your money so it doesn’t bother me if you fail.” That did not sit right with me. From that day, I strived to do as well as I could in my courses, but when I noticed others struggling I felt compelled to help. Now I would never say I’m a superhero, but I have a strong desire to see people succeed in the face of adversity. That being said, help me help you become the best learner you can be, so that you can make strides in the world.

I am not a "lecturer" and I do not believe in lecturing students on subjects. I will however, educate you on subjects that you are struggling with and increase your foundational knowledge. I make it a point to help you succeed by not simply memorising the material, but by gaining deeper insight and understanding of the material, so that your foundation of knowledge is stronger and more stable. This is your opportunity to become a lifelong learner and to find the joys of learning. You will gain the ability to think critically, problem solve, and so much more.
