About Salman
Hello, my name is Salman. I currently work within an alternative education provision as a curriculum coordinator - where I oversee and manage bespoke education programs for a range of students with varying academic capabilities. As this role is managerial and office based in nature, I enjoy tutoring as a way to keep ongoing engagement with students directly. I enjoy being an academic and pastoral mentor for young people, it is a passion and life's work.
I graduated from the world renowned University College London (UCL) in 2021, with an upper 2:1 honours in Geography. My academic prowess is supplemented with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom from numerous employment and extra curricular endeavours, which I look to share with my students to empower them and broaden their horizons. I have success with engaging some of the most challenging students in the UK.
I am passionate about well-being, health, fitness, coaching and mentoring, food, travel, diversity. I hold my students with high esteem and treat them with respect, courtesy, compassion and professionalism at all times.

With a wealth of experience in education and with tutoring, my teaching style is influenced by student led pedagogy. With a rigorous academic background and an impressive skill set with engaging and teaching challenging students, I am confident in my abilities to draw on creativity and innovation to inspire young people whilst ensuring tangible academic results, as this relates to the standard curriculum.
We will focus on your goals, drawing on the different learning styles (auditory, visual and Kinesthetic) to expand and solidify knowledge. We will work through your subject specification and tailor answers in alignment with exam board requirements. Our sessions will feature regular assessments to ensure comfort and ease with the exam environment.
Of course, if you have your own ideas about how you would like to be taught, these are welcome. We will work collaboratively to build an education program that empowers and supports you.
Lessons will typically last an hour but this can be increased depending on the needs and comfort of the student.
I teach from primary through to A level.
