As a teacher I find multiple ways to help the child learn the skill. I provide positive feedback and motivate the student to try harder and work diligently. Showing the student what and how to solve the problem paves the way for the child to copy and learn a skill they can master.

Students who have a difficult time get first a theory, a pre-topic discussion and also sample problems and activities.
Depending on the material, I see what the student needs more practice in as well as what visuals, hand on tools or manipulatives help the child.
