About Lauren
I take a different approach to tutoring by establishing what the student already knows and moving forward. I introduce new material to the student before they may have learned that lesson to build pathways in the brain so when that material is later learned it is absorbed better by making that connection. Every person has a different learning style and I think that plays a key role. If you think a hands-on approach with real-world examples and making the body come alive sounds like your way of learning then I am the tutor for you!

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and helping students learn about the life and health sciences as it drives my passion for learning and I gain from the experience as well! I was a science tutor through my undergrad years and I gained a love for learning from a tutor that I had! It is an inspiring experience and I will teach you to love learning too!
