About Grace

I’m a native Korean speaker and a dedicated Korean tutor who loves helping students feel comfortable, confident, and excited about learning Korean.

I believe the best language lessons are both structured and personal. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor my lessons to each student’s goals, experience, and learning pace. Whether you’re starting from zero, want to become more conversational, or simply want to feel more confident using Korean in everyday situations, I’ll help you build your skills step by step.

As your tutor, you can expect lessons that are organized, engaging, and practical. I place a strong emphasis on pronunciation, natural expressions, conversation, and understanding why Korean works the way it does, rather than simply memorizing phrases.

I also understand that speaking a new language can feel intimidating. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and practice without feeling embarrassed. Mistakes are part of the learning process, and I’ll help you turn them into progress.

Beyond grammar and vocabulary, I love sharing the cultural context behind the language, including everyday expressions, etiquette, and the subtle differences between textbook Korean and the Korean people actually use.

My goal is simple: to help you become a Korean speaker who feels confident using the language in real life.

I look forward to learning with you!

About the lesson

Why Learn Korean With Me?

Learning a language should feel exciting, practical, and personal, not like memorizing endless vocabulary lists. My lessons are designed to help you build real confidence in Korean through supportive, engaging, and customized instruction.

Personalized Lessons

Every student learns differently. Whether your goal is conversation, travel, K-dramas, K-pop, TOPIK preparation, business Korean, or connecting with family and culture, lessons are tailored to your interests, pace, and learning style.

Focus on Real Korean

I teach natural expressions and everyday speech that people actually use, while also explaining grammar clearly and simply. You’ll learn not only what to say, but when and how to use it naturally.

A Comfortable Learning Environment

Making mistakes is part of learning. My goal is to create a friendly and encouraging space where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and building confidence step by step.

Structured but Fun

Lessons include a balance of:

* Vocabulary and grammar
* Speaking practice
* Listening activities
* Real-life conversations and role-plays
* Cultural insights about Korea

This approach helps students use Korean actively rather than just studying it passively.

Learn More Than the Language

Language and culture go hand in hand. Along with Korean, you’ll gain insight into Korean customs, expressions, etiquette, food, media, and everyday life, making learning more meaningful and enjoyable.

What Students Can Expect

* Customized lesson plans
* Clear explanations
* Practical conversation skills
* Supportive feedback
* Consistent progress at a comfortable pace

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have experience with Korean, I would love to help you reach your goals and make learning Korean an enjoyable journey.
