I believe that every student is different and has different learning styles, so I like to personalize and adjust my lesson plans to cater to each student's individual needs. I take a hands on approach to teaching, while allowing students to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. I'm extremely patient and I insist on going over the basic topics until they are mastered, and then continuing onto more complex topics.
