About Isaiah
I currently live in San Antonio, Texas and earned my master's degree in Biology in 2022. I have prior experience in research and laboratory settings. While in school, I worked as a Patient Care Technician in a hospital, where I have patient care experience in triage, MedSurg, rehab, trauma, and more. Additionally, I have experience as a Medical Assistant in various clinical settings, caring for patients and assisting the providers to provide quality patient care. Currently, I am a Professor in Anatomy and Physiology. My goal is to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

I utilize the active learning method where I challenge students to apply the concepts outside of their courses so that they can better retain the information. I strive to learn about my students, so that I can tailor my teaching style to their needs. A typical lesson plan includes a lecture followed by an activity and a recall period. In my activities, I have my students create flashcards, or other learning styles based on their needs that enable them to apply the concepts.
