About Cubicle

I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with an academic background in psychology and a genuine passion for helping students grow in confidence and ability. I graduated with a Psychology degree from the University of Surrey and am currently completing a Master's in Psychology and Game Design, where I continue to develop a deep understanding of how people learn, think, and stay motivated.

I am patient, supportive, and adaptable, always tailoring my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs and learning pace. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students feel more confident, independent, and capable in their studies. I maintain a professional, well-structured approach to every lesson, ensuring sessions are organised, focused, and encouraging.

Whether supporting academic subjects such as English, Psychology, History, and Chinese, or coaching Badminton, I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making progress, and achieving their personal best.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and adaptable to different learning styles. I focus on building strong foundations first, then developing confidence through guided practice, discussion, and real-world application of knowledge. I use techniques such as active recall, structured explanations, visual aids, and exam-style practice where relevant, while keeping lessons engaging and interactive. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, allowing time for review, new content, and practice. I am a Psychology graduate from the University of Surrey and currently completing a Master's in Psychology and Game Design, which has strengthened my understanding of how people learn and stay motivated. I offer lessons for primary, secondary, and GCSE/A-level students (and adult learners where appropriate) in English, Chinese, History, Psychology, and Badminton, tailoring each session to the learner's level and goals
