About Daisy
Daisy is the director of Starflower Music Education, originally Priyavanti’s Music Education. She first began learning music at the age of four with piano. She went on to sing in choirs and had lessons in classical voice and jazz. She completed Grade 8 Trinity College singing at the age of 18. Her passion for singing eventually led her to study Performance Classical Voice at NZSM in 2014. During her time there Daisy studied with Lisa Harper Brown and Margaret Medlyn ONZM the head of Voice. She then transferred to the University of Otago where she studied a further year-and-a-half with Assoc. Prof. Judy Bellingham MNZM. She has almost completed her MusB, now in Music Studies, and has a complete BFA majoring in Jewellery and Metalsmithing and a BA in Classics.

Daisy, formerly Priyavanti Makwana, offers one-on-one and small group music classes in singing. These lessons are tailored to suit the student’s skill-level and interests. Contact her for your free initial trial lesson. Classical voice, jazz and contemporary are styles that are offered.
