As a tutor, I have the opportunity to inspire confidence in my students by showing them that I am knowledgeable and capable of helping them achieve their academic goals. I take pride in displaying a deep understanding of the subject matter and being able to communicate it effectively, which establishes my legitimacy and demonstrates my expertise. It's also important for me to maintain a professional demeanor and create a comfortable learning environment for my students, which can help reassure them that they are in good hands. When students feel confident in my abilities and professionalism, they are more likely to engage with the material and develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

My teaching/tutoring methods and techniques vary depending on the individual I am working with, and I have experience with many different learning types. I find that working through visuals and practice problems is a way that works well a lot, but I am flexible in my methods because teaching methods are not a once size fits all! I have received tutoring myself in the past so I use what has helped me to help those that I am working with, and I know it can be mentally challenging to understand certain topics. My lessons are for all learners and all education levels!
