About Treasa
I have been a massage therapist for 18 years, a graphic designer for 20 years, a self-employed businesswoman for 14 years, and homeschool educator for 11 years with 3 children of my own and also having taught co-op classes to groups ranging in size (6 to 15 students) and age (4 to 18). My son is ADHD and on the spectrum, and my daughter is gifted being in the 3rd grade at age 6. I have mastered managing my own dyslexia and dyscalculia (they never go away so it's best to make friends), and I am teaching my children how to do the same. I can do the same for you.

I turned down scholarships for engineering to follow my heart and study the arts. I was trained in music and visual arts, graduating with a BA with honors, and minoring in business. I have run my own business for 14 years, and homeschooled 3 children, one of whom is currently in college. What this means for you is that I am well-rounded and can look at most anything from different angles. I see things from both the analytical and creative brain viewpoints, which has helped me greatly with my own children. I also understand the challenges of dyslexia and dyscalculia, as both I, and my children, face those challenges head-on. I have demonstrated understanding of math up through basic calculus, though I prefer working with the basics, algebra, and geometry. I am also trained as a massage therapist, so anatomy, physiology, and natural sciences are a strength as well. If you are struggling and need someone with a diverse background and viewpoints, I would be honored to help.
