About Barnaby
I am an experienced tutor with both a double first at undergrad, and a distinction at masters, in philosophy from the university of Cambridge. I enjoy helping people understand and appreciate philosophy, and I am good at communicating complex ideas in a way that is engaging and fun.

I believe that every student is different and there isn’t a one size fits all approach to tutoring. Depending on what the student wants out of tutoring, I can change my lessons accordingly.
In tutoring for the philosophy A Level, I can help students get to grips with difficult theories and how they piece together, as well as coach their ability to communicate. I can also help students go beyond the syllabus if they would like, and show how what they’ve learnt can fit into the wider debates in philosophy.
In coaching Oxbridge admissions, I can explain to students what the process was like, conduct practice interviews, or mark and talk through practice tests.
