About Olivia
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in Modern and Medieval Languages (high 2:1). I achieved 3 A*s at A-Level in French, English Literature and History. I have experience tutoring, as well as extensive experience working with children of various ages. I worked as an Activity Leader at Discovery Summer Marymount, an English-language residential summer school. In this role I planned and executed various activities for international students aged 7-11 who were non-native English speakers, of various abilities, to improve their command of the English language. I was also responsible for the students' welfare and experience at the summer school, working in a team of 5-7 activity leaders. I provided voluntary language tutoring, French and Italian, for the non-profit organisation Literacy Initiative for their virtual summer camp. I organised and ran online teaching to children aged 5-16. I adapted my lessons based upon skill-level and individual students' needs.
