About Mayna
I am an ex-primary school teacher. The reason I stopped whole-class teaching is because I prefer to teach my students one-on-one, matching the pace of the lesson to the individual's, without the constant pressure to move on and spread my attention across the 20 or so other students in my class. You will find my lessons highly individualised and therefore engaging as the structure of my lesson gives me the chance to gauge your prior knowledge so we can get right into the lesson at the level suited to you in minimal time.

Currently accepting online zoom or Google Meet lesson requests only. Lesson structure is:
1. warm-up question with a hook to engage students into the lesson.
2. Overview of what will be taught based on prior knowledge gauged from the warm up.
3. Foundation skills teaching followed by a gradual build-up of practice questions (if applicable to the subject)
4. Recap of lesson and co-constructed goal setting for next session.
