About Lou
Once upon a time, I was an eight year old inmigrant in New Zealand, barely able to communicate and make friends in school. I learned English after my mother brought me to a thirift shop where I picked up my first English book. Next year, I am moving overseas where the third language I am learning now is spoken. Once again, I will be in a new environment alone, speaking a different language. I understand the frustration that seems to accompany every language learning journey. My experience is what makes me so passionate about tutoring. You can be assured I am someone very patient, passionate, and creative when I tutor

Hi! My name is LJ. I'm a graduate from University of Auckland, currently residing in Auckland, New Zealand. I am also learning a third language, at an intermediate level. My goal one day is to be a polyglot. For this reason, I know how it feels to learn a foreign language. It can be daunting, figuring out a study plan, as well as getting over that fear of pronouncing words wrong. That is why I'm here! To tutor in English.
