My methods of tutoring involve going over key parts of the syllabus, helping to build strong foundations in the subject through the use of diagrams, examples and other learning techniques.
Going over past paper questions and their mark schemes will be a common thread in my tutoring as I believe this to be one of the best ways to prepare for an exam. I am, however, happy to take different approaches depending on how the student responds to this.
During my time in high school, I would often help tutor my friends in these subjects, each of them having vastly different ways of thinking and so I became very good at adapting my teaching methods to suit each of them. I would also, in Sixth Form, volunteer to help out in a range of lower school lessons ranging from Year 7 Maths to Year 10 Biology. I even led revision lessons for some of these classes.
My lessons would be for people needing help in any of the subjects listed whether it be preparation for GCSE or A-level exams, or just wanting to understand the subject better at a lower level.
