About Eugenia

Hello! My name is Eugenia and I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota, with BAs in Political Science, Psychology, and Global Studies (with an emphasis on human rights). After my graduation, I interned with the Department of Field Support at the United Nations (now rebranded the Department of Operational Support). Between my education at the U of M and my experience at the UN, I found international law and international relations to be fascinating. I chose to pursue that field further at the University of Oxford, recently graduating with a Masters of Philosophy in International Relations.

About the lesson

My teaching method is relatively flexible. I understand that every course covers different topics, and that every instructor places different weight on different areas of each course. I also understand that in the field of international relations, everyone has different perspectives on the most valid theories. As for me, I aim to educate you without overly imposing my own personal views. That being said, I am interested in hearing what each student has to say, and am looking forward to some lively discussions!

For university students, I do request that you forward along your syllabus before beginning any lessons with me. Additionally, prior to each session, I would like you to send me any questions or topics/areas of concern you'd like to spend a bit more time on.

For high school students/other students who are interested in an overview of any of the topics I am teaching, please contact me and we can discuss your interests. This will help me to create a lesson plan to give you a broad overview of the topic.

All in all, I want to help you with whatever your goals may be. This means that no two students' experiences with my teaching will be the same--my lessons will be curated solely for you.

Pricing is negotiable. I expect to receive payment at least 48 hours before the lesson. Failure to make this payment results in a cancelled lesson. If you cannot make the lesson, please let me know at least 24 hours before the lesson is meant to be held. A notice of cancellation less than 24 hours before the course will result in a 50% refund. No notice, no refund.
