About Aurora
I graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a 2:1 BSc in International Relations and History. I also achieved A grades in History, Geography and Economics at A-level, giving me a strong academic foundation across the humanities and social sciences.
Alongside my academic background, I have previous experience as an online English language tutor, where I developed my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles and create a supportive learning environment.
I understand that every student has different strengths, challenges and ambitions. My approach is patient, encouraging and personalised, with a focus on building confidence as well as academic ability.
Whether you’re preparing for GCSE or A-level examinations, looking to improve your essay-writing skills or simply seeking additional academic support, I aim to make learning enjoyable, accessible and rewarding.

My lessons typically last 60 minutes and follow a clear structure:
* 5–10 minutes: Recap previous learning and identify areas requiring improvement.
* 15–20 minutes: Explain key concepts using clear examples and interactive activities.
* 20 minutes: Guided exercises, independent practice and exam-style questions where appropriate.
* 10 minutes: Review progress, provide constructive feedback and establish goals for the next lesson.
I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their abilities at their own pace.
Whether you’re looking to improve your subject knowledge, strengthen your essay-writing skills, prepare for examinations or simply gain confidence, my lessons will be adapted to help you reach your goals.
