About Agnès
I started my music education very early in Versailles, until my Bachelor degree. After this, I completed my studies at the Paris music Conservatoire, in Flute and Recorder and I also graduated from the Brest music conservatoire (CFEM and DEM)
In addition, I have followed a training in music awakening for pre-schoolers and I have taught music in nursery schools. I have followed a teacher training as well.
After a few years as a music tutor at home and in a music school in Brittany, I came back to Versailles where I created ‘L'atelier du petit flûtiste’, teaching at my home or at my student’s home.
I also have a master in French literature and experiences as a French teacher in primary and secondary school.
Apart from my teaching experience, I have always played in a variety of ensembles: flute and recorder, chamber music and orchestras in France

I am a musician and a qualified flute and recorder teacher, with more than 20 years of tutoring and school-teaching experience.
I especially enjoy working with young people, but I welcome students of all ages. Indeed, I have had previous pupils aged 6 to 14 years, from beginner to intermediate level. To structure the lessons, I utilise tutor and bilingual French and English method books.
I help students grow in their general musicianship and I train them to acquire the fundamentals of music theory.
I love sharing my passion for Music with others, inspiring them and motivating them to achieve the best results.
I’m keen for students to discover music that they enjoy, and so I would encourage them to explore all kinds and provide inspiration and repertoire lists to aid this.
Also, I play a lot with my students in duo and I organise two performances during the years with the other students. I prepare the ABRSM exams in flute and theory.
