About Jillian
I am a graduate of The College of New Jersey and a certified elementary teacher with experience teaching kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I have worked with a wide range of learners and understand how to meet students where they are academically and build their confidence step by step.
I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I focus on clear instruction, hands-on strategies, and individualized support to help each student grow.
My goal is to help students build strong foundational skills while also developing confidence, independence, and a positive attitude toward learning.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I believe every learner is different so I adjust my teaching style to match each student’s pace, strengths, and goals.
In our sessions I focus on building understanding step by step instead of just memorizing answers. I use clear explanations, real life examples, and guided practice to help students feel confident and successful.
Whether a student needs help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead, I create a positive and encouraging learning environment where questions are always welcome.
