I love to teach because I covet the beautiful moments in which knowledge becomes power for students. My priority is to provide my students with intentional, developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and engaging! I plan lessons to be developmentally appropriate, engaging, and dynamic. I believe that learning should be a natural process of discovery where teachers help nurture students' love and eagerness for more knowledge. A typical lesson would entail a brief review of past knowledge and related work, an 'entrance' exam to understand the current level of student knowledge then completion of an appropriate assignment followed by a provided summary sheet of the lesson for optional review. My lessons are aimed at students in kindergarten through 6th grade as this is where my professional certification is.
