About Jamison
I have a Bachelor's in Biology and a Master's in Biology, both from TCU! While at TCU, I taught many different biology courses, including Biochemistry, Physiology, and Genetics. Also, while at TCU, I completed complex biochemical/biophysical published research! My main philosophy for teaching and really life is fostering safe spaces for others to grow to their full potential through encouragement and empathy!

I definitely was a non-traditional student so I understand a lot of barriers that students can face and how to navigate those successfully!
I believe that really any class is achievable for any student; it just depends on the approach as well as the understanding. What I have found with my students previously is to start with basic definitions! This may seem silly, but if you just understand the mere definition of a word, you're more than halfway to understanding the concept you may be struggling with.
I specialize in aiding students who may be in AP/DC classes, undergraduate biology courses, and those preparing for pre-health professions/graduate school!
