About Logan
As a teacher, I bring a high level of professionalism, communication, and literacy to every tutoring session. My background in History, Secondary Education, and Special Education has taught me the importance of clear communication, strong reading and writing skills, and adapting instruction to meet each student’s individual needs. I strive to create a professional, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their academic abilities. My goal is not only to help students succeed in the immediate task at hand, but also to strengthen the literacy, critical-thinking, and study skills they can carry into future classes.

As a certified educator with a background in History, Secondary Education, and Special Education, I bring both subject expertise and a student-centered approach to every tutoring session. I believe tutoring should be more than memorizing facts—it should help students understand why history happened and develop the skills to analyze sources, write clearly, and think critically.
Whether your student needs help catching up, preparing for an exam, improving their writing, or simply building confidence, I tailor lessons to their individual learning style and needs. My goal is to make challenging material approachable while giving students the tools to become more independent and successful learners.
