About Axel
Hello! My name is Axel, and I’m a dedicated tutor specializing in biology and math, including subjects like evolution, genetics, anatomy, physiology, plant biology, calculus, and trigonometry. I recently graduated from UC Riverside with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, where I developed a deep passion for understanding the intricacies of life and mathematics.
Before pursuing my degree, I was trained to be a teacher through a Teaching Academy program in high school and further honed my leadership and teaching skills in the Marine Corps, where I guided and educated my junior Marines. This unique combination of experiences has shaped my personalized teaching approach, allowing me to cater to the diverse learning styles of my students.
I believe that education is a powerful tool that enables us to make each other better. My goal is to inspire excitement about your courses while helping you succeed in your classes. Together, we will navigate challenging concepts, and I am committed to ensuring that you not only understand the material but also enjoy the learning process.
