About Tara
having many positions in the education world as a director in childcare, reading specialist, substitute teacher, and homeschool mom for 10 years. I am very professional and provide an environment that is comfortable, lighthearted, and conducive for learning. I taught both my own boys to read. I approached their learning activities in a very different way because they’re two very different kids. They are now 17 and 14. I hope to find a method that works to your individual needs and hope you learn to be just like I did my boys.

Hey future students, it’s Miss Tara here! I would love to be your tutor for reading, spelling, and comprehension. I have a very good intuition of kids and their personality needs, and I’m very good at adapting your interests and needs into my lessons. My main goal when teaching is to help you understand the importance of what you’re learning and how you will use it in life, and also make it meaningful to you so that you are enjoying the process. Teaching reading is my absolute passion because I think you can learn anything through books and reading.
