About Pauline
Having been a teacher and a qualified librarian for 30 years, a director of our major productions and of a Traveling Drama group and a computer nerd, I decided that a more one on one approach might suit me for a while. Phew!!! The pandemic settled me on that and working from home seemed ideal since I’m mad about my own two adult children, my crazy golden dog called Percy, a Bengal Cat (Simba) and a rescued moggy (Lucky). I love animals and they have taught ME a great deal. Life is never boring but every time I read a great book or saw a video about Ancient Rome, there was a tug on my heartstrings to share my love for learning with others again!

I am passionate about helping people and in doing so I get to continually expand my own knowledge. I have always been regarded for my willingness to create a positive relationship with any student. I’m always willing to go the extra mile and having already taught classes online for 3 years, I feel I have developed some good ideas to make the process easy, fulfilling and fun while super supportive of my people. I enjoy crafting new lesson ideas such as a weekly “Treasure Chest” where I would encourage students to enrich their learning with challenges and new ideas.
