About John

I am a graduate of ITB Petroleum Engineering in 2017. I have a passion for teaching since I was in college. For two years I taught private high school kids and students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Calculus. Besides mastering the material, what I pay most attention to is how to understand the speed of absorption of knowledge of each student. I always adjust to each student's personalities so that I can ensure that what I teach can be clearly understood. Besides that, in terms of teaching students, I prefer to be a friend / older friend to students than just teachers. For me, the psychology of an older brother will make each student enthusiastic in learning, moreover, be able to receive all the motivation that I convey.

About the lesson

My teaching method is teaching directly to students with or without a blackboard. The approach I take for each topic is to try to make students understand the basic concepts first. Many students fail to understand mathematics because in their minds mathematics is only a memorized formula. Even though mathematics is more than that. Mathematics emphasizes understanding basic concepts to create creativity in finding solutions to problems. After understanding the concept, then practicing the questions from the easy level to difficult to see the position has been to what extent then practice continuously until creativity appears in making problem solving.
