As someone who studied AP English in high school and four years in college, I feel confident that I can get you where you want to be in the study.

My teaching method is creative and collaborative. I strive to make lessons fun and engaging. The great things about literature and writing is that often times it's interpretive; meaning we can learn things from each other during a lesson because each person has a different point of view.
A typical lesson might consist of a quick game or activity to start out followed by a reading/task and discussion on the piece. Then we will debrief on the lesson and answer any questions!
What sets me apart as a tutor is both my passion for the material and my desire for your success. I'm outgoing, warm, and inviting, and I want you to ultimately feel comfortable with me during a lesson. Think of me as a friend reading and writing with you!
Lessons can be geared towards K-12 age groups, as well as children and adults with special needs.
