About Damilola

I am a person who is very passionate, caring, enthusiastic, interesting, friendly and a playful teacher. I believe every child should be able to read and write at an early age if they are rightly nurtured and groomed especially through various and engaging activities. Making kids love and enjoy the rules and procedures that apply to English language is the name of the game.

About the lesson

I use Jolly Phonics English literacy method to teach children how to read and write using phonics.
Phonics is a better way of teaching the children how each letter sounds rather than the conventional method.

These sounds are taught in a systematic way, alongside all of the skills needed for being a fluent reader and writer.

Jolly Phonics also teaches all of this in a fun and engaging way, through characters, stories, actions, songs and games!
