About Mio

I am a recent graduate of Kings College London and currently work as a consultant in London. Would love to have the chance to teach my native language, Japanese, and connect with students!

I am able to teach a wide range of levels, from beginner to middle school level for writing and reading, as well as training native level speaking and listening skills.

About the lesson

I teach Japanese as a native speaker with experience in Japanese A Literature for one of my International Baccalaureate Diploma subjects - got a 6 (grade A equivalent). I also got an admission to Waseda University, although I didn’t take on the offer.

I will be able to tailor to your needs, e.g. speaking/listening/writing/reading. Example of how a class could look like:

Speaking focused class
- Have a 5-10 mins adlib conversation about each others weeks
- Present a few topics to the student and chooses one of their choice
- Have a free conversation as I present videos and reading material related to the topic
- Main objective is to train the student’s skills to observe a wide variety of material, extract information, and voice their own opinion/insights - this will allow the student to learn how to engage in a conversation easily.

I define it as Mio. As a sensei, as a leader, as a lady, and as a friend, she is of the highest kind, quality, and order. Supreme.
She will tailor the class to your requirements and make good preparation with slides to help you improve during and after class. Mio has made not only made the classes prolific but also very fun to learn Japanese.
