My approach to law tutoring is grounded in active learning and critical thinking, ensuring that students not only understand legal principles but can apply them effectively. The core techniques include:
Socratic Method: Encouraging students to engage deeply with case law and legal principles by asking probing questions that foster critical thinking and analysis.
Case-Based Learning: Using real-life case studies to teach legal concepts, helping students connect theory with practice.
Interactive Discussion: Promoting discussions around legal principles and current legal issues to allow students to articulate their understanding and learn through dialogue.
IRAC (Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion) Framework: A structured approach to legal problem-solving and essay writing, ensuring clarity and precision.
Customized Feedback: Providing individualized feedback on essays, problem questions, and coursework to address specific student needs and help improve their legal writing and reasoning skills.
Use of Visual Aids and Mind Maps: Breaking down complex legal concepts using flowcharts and diagrams, making the material more accessible and easier to retain.
