About Surya

During my three years in college, I have learned and got hands-on experience in C, and C++. I have been doing competitive programming for the past two years, came across many questions, and improved myself in the journey. I secured a global rank of 1366 in Google Kickstart in Round G 2021 and 1470 in Round E 2021. I am a specialist in Code forces with a peak rating of 1451 and a 4-start coder with a peak rating of 1863 in Codechef.

With my growing interest in web development, I have taken up a Udemy Course - “The Complete 2021 Web Development Bootcamp” by Dr Angela Yu and studied various tools and technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Node, Express, APIs, EJS, MongoDB and React.

I worked on a “Codeforces performance Tracker” project to apply my theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. It is an application to keep track of the problems solved by the users on code forces and give a complete analysis of their performance. I programmed the backend server using NodeJS, built middleware using Express and used Bootstrap for styling the Frontend.

I am confident in my ability to come up with innovative ideas and look at things beyond the basics. I believe that the organisation would benefit from making the best use of my technical knowledge.
