About Katie
My first teaching experience was at UC Berkeley’s Girls in STEM program. It was there that I learned the best way to encourage young students to explore science with creativity and fun! Since then, I have gotten my own degree in math and computer science and have continued to teach everyone who will listen about the coolest parts of science :)

My lessons revolve around the student! If we’re having lessons on Computer Science, I’d first get a sense of what most interests them— theory? Application? From there, the lessons are tailored to suit the fundamentals, as well as the student’s specific path of interest
