About Alex
I have been a tutor for many years during my time in school, helping my friends and fellow students to better understand classes we were taking together or classes I had already taken. I primarily work in the arts now, which I find aids me in my knowledge of literature and writing, and I am still tutoring those around me in different creative subjects. I am very dedicated to any job I do and want to make sure enough time is dedicated to every student and we truly assess your needs and are able to fill them in a way that makes you feel comfortable and happy with the progress you make.

The lesson plan is determined by what you want to learn and what would most help you as you move forward with your education! Reading and literature I will be reading with you and helping you to break down the writing to get a better understanding for the themes and writing style before moving into assignments on that reading. Test prep will include practice exams and thorough breakdowns of those exams as well as practice questions that we will do together. I am very open to teaching in whatever way is best for the student and am very adaptable to the needs of any student including those that are neurodivergent and those who need a bit of extra help staying on task.
