About Emily
Hello! My name is Emily and I love to learn! I enjoy school and am happy and eager to help in any subject. I studied microbiology and music in college, but also took classes in physics,statistics, culinary arts, sports, and religion. I worked at the FDA for around a year and loved being a researcher on COVID and Marburg there. I also have a current EMT license and love the medical field. I’m excited to work with you!

Hello!
Throughout the years, I have been a tutor a middle school, high school, and college level. I enjoy sharing my love of learning and making hard subjects more approachable.
To start a lesson, I want to understand where you are in your learning, what areas you are concerned with, and what your goals are. Your attitude is important too.
From there, we will make a plan together with goals that we both think are fair and will help you grow.
I will design lesson plans with new approaches and ideas to help you master the content. If I don’t know something, I will put in all the time and energy required to find the answers and understand them well enough to teach.
We can make adjustments as we go, and look back with excitement about the progress you have made.
