About Emily
I am a recent graduate from BostonUniversity. I hold a Bachlor’s of Science in Human Physiology. Currently, I am a 4th grade homeroom teacher at a junior boarding school. Outside of teaching in the 4th grade classroom, I teach 5th grade English. Each trimester I have had the opportunity to teach elective courses at the elementary and middle school level. Furthermore, I have worked as a substitute in every grade level from K-9.

I utilize creative approaches to keep students engaged with even what they may find to be the most mundane subjects. Together we will draw connections between subject matter and the real world. Students will find a balance between receiving instruction and utilizing the new skills that they will have in their tool kit.
