About Jack

Hello, I am Jack.
I graduated from the University of Hull in 2022 with a first class honours in Biomedical science. I then worked in a microbiology lab for the NHS for a year and a half and then became a carer for half a year in a care home. I am currently a medical student at Swansea University. I want to teach because I found it to be challenging when going through my exams as I could never grasp how to revise in a manner that suited me. I was then fortunate enough to experience a different teaching approach from a few new teachers and they taught me ways to revise and learn in a fun and efficient manner that made things stick in my memory. This has inspired me to share my exam tips and tricks as well as my learning approach to share with other students, as I can totally empathise with them as I was once in their shoes.

About the lesson

I like to make learning fun and engaging, I take a different approach to the old fashioned black and white approach. I will learn your interests and teach you in a way that will link to your interests so that it will be more memorable. I like to make a plan with the students by going through things they are confident and least confident in. I like to improve the confidence in students as well as improving their knowledge.
