About Aishwarya
Trust me. I know the struggle. Math can be so frustrating, and the way it's taught in K-12 is often convoluted and not remotely fun-inspiring at all. I'm here to show you that it's just about finding the rules and patterns and then just using them all over the place - like cooking the same recipe over and over, or learning to sew, or figuring out the perfect technique to shoot a 3-pointer. I spent a majority of my college career teaching high schoolers health education, mathematics, and biology, and I have always learned content with the motto that unless I can explain something to someone not in my field, I have not understood it myself, so teaching is engrained in my every life. I want to see you succeed- whatever that means to you, whether it's acing every exam or just getting past the hurdle of a mandatory class.

My typical process with students involves first determining the primary weakness or struggle-spot in a subject and creating lesson plan around strengthening the issue before moving on. For instance, if you're having a difficult time keeping track of the excessive steps in an algebra problem, I can show you how to simplify and organize a problem into its basics. A typical session usually starts with going over any concepts or questions you might have gotten stuck on during the previous week, then moving to new content. I usually assign some practice problems to do over the week till the next session as well to keep concepts fresh and to assess the following week, because mathematics is all about practice, practice, practice.
