About YASH

Firstly, mathematics is a universal language that transcends borders and cultural boundaries. While there may be some differences in terminologies and teaching approaches, the fundamental principles of mathematics remain the same. As an Indian student, I have received a comprehensive education in mathematics that has provided me with a solid foundation in the subject.

Secondly, India has a strong emphasis on mathematics education, and Indian students are often recognized for their proficiency in the subject. Through my own education in India, I have gained a deep understanding of various mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques. I can leverage this knowledge to provide a well-rounded and thorough learning experience for UK students.

About the lesson

My name is Yash, and I am confident that my teaching methodology and experience will make me an excellent fit for this role. I specialize in tutoring students between the ages of 8 and 14, specifically in Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 for UK students.

One of the core principles of my teaching methodology is the emphasis on practice and a calm understanding of concepts. I believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged and given the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a practical manner. Through regular practice exercises and interactive learning activities, I aim to foster a deep understanding of the subject matter.
Additionally, I recognize the importance of tailoring my teaching approach to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. By creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment, I strive to instill confidence and motivate my students to reach their full potential.

I have experience tutoring students in various subjects, including mathematics, science, and English. I am comfortable adapting my teaching materials and methods to suit the specific requirements of each subject and student. Whether it's explaining complex mathematical concepts, conducting hands-on science experiments, or improving reading and writing skills, I am dedicated to helping students succeed academically.

Furthermore, I am familiar with the UK educational system and the curriculum followed in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. This enables me to align my teaching with the specific learning objectives and outcomes expected of students in these age groups.
In addition to my teaching skills, I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which allow me to establish a strong rapport with my students and create a positive learning environment. I am patient, approachable, and committed to supporting students throughout their academic journey.
