About Bruna

I have completed my Primary Education BA in University and I am now a qualified teacher. Since I have qualified, I have been doing supply work in different schools, being able to work with different age groups. This has been a great experience so far as I have gained more subject knowledge and how to meet the children's needs. My passion for teaching and caring for children has been within me for a while and it will always be here.

In terms of my interests and hobbies, I love going to the gym either before and after work as I believe it has given a great impact on my mental and daily health. Apart from this, I also love going to Starbucks for a coffee and a revision session! I bring my laptop and stay there for hours doing work!

I believe that I am an extremely confident person when it comes to teaching, babysitting or tutoring children around all ages and this is due to the great passion I have for children! I could honestly write a book of different reasons why I love my job! I always just want to strengthen my knowledge within education and how to make an impact on children's learning developments

About the lesson

I have just finished my Primary Education degree in university where throughout the course I have had the opportunity to teach children in Year 1 up until Year 6. I have been able to gain more deep subject knowledge and how to be a good role model as well as a good teacher with great qualities. I like to break down my lessons into small steps and sections so that children have the opportunity to be able to learn and understand the topic of the lesson. Each lessons would start with a recap of the previous lesson and then it would move on to the expectations and learning objectives of the lessons. This will then lead to a start activity where children will have a feel of the the lesson will be about. The children will then do a activity in groups and with the support of the teacher and then do an independent activity for the teacher to be able to assess them. And this is how I break down my lessons into steps :)
