About Johanna
I was formally a Spanish tutor in my undergraduate university. I continue to speak in both English and Spanish and I am currently engaged to someone learning the English language. I firmly believe it takes patience, understanding, and dedication to teaching another language. Not only that, but I believe it’s also important to teach the cultural context behind the language learned.

I constantly work with clients who must juggle between English-speaking government entities and their own abilities to express their concerns and questions in their native language of Spanish. In this aspect, I must teach my clients what the law and procedures mean in a way they must understand in Spanish. Therefore, I have the patience and understanding of what it means to teach from both English and Spanish.
